The largest dealership group in Marietta, Ohio is expanding! Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Automotive Controller for an excellent long-term career opportunity.

Duties: The Controller shall provide income and expense analyses for all dealership departments. ADP System expertise is preferred .Candidates need to understand all positions in the accounting office as well as provide:

-Provide daily operation control reporting (DOC)
-Oversee the daily accounting operations to ensure compliance with dealership processes and policies
-Oversee all floor plan activities: payoffs and flooring of inventory in accordance with corporate policies
-Maintain an effective cash management reporting system
-Daily communication with General Manager, Dealer and other corporate personnel regarding financial trends and cash requirements
-Review all monthly journals, schedules, general ledger accounts, accounts payable and receivable per corporate policy
-Provide fixed asset management and reporting ensuring that internal controls are in place.
-Prepare monthly financial statements and submit to management in accordance with established time frames. Analyze and interpret all areas of report.
-Coordinate internal and external audit processes.
-Prepare year end financial reports, reviews and all tax related documentation.
-Coordinate the development of and monitor the annual budget as appropriate.
-Works with General Manager to improve revenue stream or reduce expenses to meet established budget guidelines.
-Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years accounting experience, including Controller/Office -Manager experience within the automotive industry or public accounting experience.
-ADP computer experience
-Working knowledge and experience with dealership financial statements
-Experience, hiring , training and supervision of accounting personnel.
-Solid knowledge of GAAP and process improvement analysis.
-Advanced skill with Excel, Word and PC skills
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
